Podcast Review
The podcast that I decide to review was apart of the Wisdom Project Podcast. I chose episode #004: Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, and Robert Penn Warren (January 18, 2016). This podcast was about the preferred methods of nonviolent or violent actions that could help MLK Jr. and Malcolm X achieve their goals during this period (1960s). The oral history/interviews being used in the podcast was done in accordance with the Civil Rights Movement. Both Malcolm X and MLK Jr. were interviewed about their methods that they took when it came to actions and protests. MLK was in support of nonviolent actions and even had a Committee known as the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee. He believed that violence and hatred wouldn't solve the problems of racial inequality. However, Malcolm X believed in violent actions.
